2 Ways to Reinstall and Update Realtek HD Audio Manager in Windows 10

Alternatively, in the Device Manager dashboard, you can right-click "Realtek High Definition Audio", then select "Update Driver Software" from the menu.
Step 7: Select the "Automatically check for updated driver" option.
This will prompt your PC to search your entire computer and explore the Internet to determine if there is an update available for the Realtek HD Audion driver and manager.
If so, it will be automatically downloaded and installed on your computer.

2. Reinstalling Realtek HD Audio Manager

You can download a stable version of the Realtek HD audio driver from the official Realtek site or from trusted third-party sources and install it manually on your PC.
And by stable version, we are talking about v2.81. The latest version of the Realtek HD audio driver (v2.82) is quite buggy and you may find the Realtek HD Audio Manager often disappear if you install it on your device.

Download the driver from the link above and follow the steps below to reinstall Realtek HD Audio Manager on your PC.
Step 1: Right click on the downloaded configuration and select Run as administrator.
2nd step: Follow the installation prompts and restart your computer after installing the Realtek HD audio driver.
Step 3: Launch your file explorer and navigate to this location – C: Program Files Realtek Audio HDA.
Alternatively, you can press Windows + R keys to launch the RUN window and paste this location – C: Program Files Realtek Audio HDA. Then press the Enter button on your keyboard.
This will immediately open the folder where the Realtek HD Audio Manager application is located in your file explorer.
Step 4: Right click on RAVCpl64, press Send to and select Desktop (create shortcut).

Step 5: On your desktop, right-click the RAVCpl64 shortcut and tap the Pin option on the taskbar.
Realtek HD Audio Manager will be pinned to your taskbar. In addition, it will appear in the system tray and the notification area.
And that's it. Realtek HD Audio Manager is back on your PC. You can launch the application from the taskbar, the system tray with a single click of the mouse.
