6 Best Ways to Restore Google Chrome Icon on Windows 10
The Windows 10 Start menu gives you access to installed applications. You can create application shortcuts on the desktop or pin them to the taskbar to launch them quickly. Method 1: restore the Chrome icon from the start menu
One of the easiest ways to get the Google Chrome icon on your desktop is to drag and drop it from the Start menu.
Here’s how to do it.
Step 1: Minimize all open windows on your computer so that only the desktop is visible. You can also tap on the Show Desktop icon present in the lower right corner.
2nd step: Open the Start menu on your computer by clicking on the Start menu icon. You can also press the Windows key on your keyboard to open the Start menu.
Step 3: Find Google Chrome in the list of applications. Now drag and drop it on the desktop.
Point: You can also pin Chrome to Start menu tiles. To do this, right click on Google Chrome and select Pin to Start menu.
The Google Chrome icon will appear on the desktop. You can move it around and place it anywhere you want.

Method 2: Add Chrome Icon from Search
Step 1: Open Windows search on your computer and type Chrome.

Method 3: restore Chrome icon from File Explorer

Step 1: Open File Explorer on your PC. You can open it by pressing the Windows + E shortcut.
2nd step: Go to C Drive> Program Files (X86)> Google> Chrome> Application.
Step 3: In the Application folder, you will find the Chrome.exe file. You can now drag and drop this file onto your desktop to create its shortcut. You can also right click on Chrome.exe and go to Send to> Desktop (create shortcut).

Method 4: Repair and restore blank Chrome icon
Often times, the Chrome icon will show a blank image instead of the normal icon. In such cases, you can remove this icon and add a new icon to the desktop as shown using the three methods above. Alternatively, you can just change the Chrome icon as shown below.
Step 1: Right click on the problematic Chrome icon on the desktop and go to Properties.

Method 5: reinstall Chrome

Method 6: pin Google Chrome to the taskbar
