How to Change Zoom Profile Picture on Desktop and Mobile

When you sign up for Zoom using your Google or Microsoft account, the service takes the profile picture of the connected accounts. If you want to change Zoom profile picture, you can edit it easily. Here’s how to edit Zoom profile picture on computer and mobile.

You may not want to use your Google or Microsoft profile photo as the default photo on Zoom. However, Zoom is flexible. You can change it to something else using Zoom Web, Zoom desktop apps, and mobile apps. Read along to find out how.

1. Zoom on the Windows application

Zoom Windows app is feature rich with all customizable options including dark mode. Follow the steps below to change profile picture on Windows Zoom app.

Step 1: Open the Zoom application on Windows.

Step 3: Scroll down to Profile.

Step 4: Select Edit my profile and it will take you to the Zoom web account interface.

Zoom may ask you to re-authenticate on the web. Log in with the same account.

Step 5: In Personal Zoom, select Profile.

Step 6: Click on your current profile picture.

Step 7: Select Edit and choose a profile photo from your computer. You can upload up to 2MB of photos from your computer.

After a successful photo upload, you will see a new Zoom profile photo for your account. Tap Save, and you’re ready to dial the next Zoom calls with a new profile picture.

2. Zoom application for Mac

Mac users can also edit the Zoom profile picture. Although the steps to change the Zoom profile picture on Mac are the same as in Windows, we will use a slightly different method to access the Zoom account on the web.

Step 1: Open Zoom on Mac.

The move will take you directly to Web Zoom.

3. Zoom app for iPhone and iPad

The ability to change profile pictures on Zoom is not limited to desktop applications only. Users can also make the change from the mobile apps. Let’s start with the Zoom app for iPhone and iPad.

Step 1: Access the Zoom app on your iPhone and iPad.

Step 3: Select Profile photos and use the Camera or Select from photo album option.

Step 4: Select an image from the default Apple Photos app or album and upload it to the Zoom servers.

Step 5: Crop your image and tap Done at the top.

4. Zoom app for Android

The Zoom Android app isn’t far either. You have the same options to edit the profile picture on the Zoom Android app. Here is what you need to do.

Step 1: Open the Settings menu on the Zoom Android app.

2nd step: Tap the profile picture. Upload a profile photo from the camera UI or open the Choose Photo menu.

Step 3: The move will open the default File Manager app on Android.

The option allows users to upload profile photos from OneDrive, Google Drive, or Google Photos. Tap the hamburger menu and select a relevant source to upload an image to Zoom.
