How to Create a WhatsApp Group With Yourself
We have covered the steps of both procedures in this article. In other words, create a WhatsApp group with yourself and how to send you a message on WhatsApp. The advantage of creating a group instead of using the normal discussion thread is that you personalize it. In other words, you can change its name and image easily like any other group.
After all, the choice is yours. Here are the steps to start creating a group with yourself only.
How to create a WhatsApp group with only yourself on Android and iPhone
The steps are slightly different for Android and iPhone, but the idea is the same. In other words, when you create a WhatsApp group, you will be asked to add its participants. Now that you are creating a group with yourself, you may want to add only. But this is not possible for two reasons.
First of all, you don't have to add yourself. The owner or creator of the group is added automatically. Second, you must add at least one person to create a group. This person can be anyone. But to be safer and avoid trouble, add a close friend or family member. The reason is that you have to delete them after you've added them.
Note: We have covered in detail what happens when you add or remove a person from a WhatsApp group below.
Here are the steps for Android and iPhone.
Point: After creating the group, you can change its name and photo.
Create a WhatsApp group with you on Android
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your Android phone and tap the three dots icon at the top. Select New group.
2nd step: Add a participant of your choice and tap the next green icon at the bottom.

Step 4: To remove the person from the group, open the newly created WhatsApp group on your phone. Tap the group name at the top. Otherwise, tap the three dots icon at the top and select Group Information.
Step 5: Scroll down in the group info section, and you will find the attendees section. Tap the name of the participant you want to delete. Select Delete from the menu. A confirmation window will appear. Press OK.
How to connect to WhatsApp on Android and iPhone
There are two methods to do this.
Method 1: Add a contact
In this method, you must save your number in the contact list. Then launch the Contacts app and open the newly saved contact. You will find the Message option on WhatsApp. Tap it.
It will take you to your WhatsApp thread. Type a message and press Enter. Now you can text yourself. You can pin the thread to make it available at the top.
Method 2: Using the Click to Chat Feature
WhatsApp provides a feature called Click to Chat, where you can send a message to someone without saving their number on your phone. We will take the help of this concept to send us a message.
To do this, follow these steps:
Step 1: Add your phone number at the end of the link http://wa.me/ including the country code but without any symbol or space. To do this, you can use any note taking app.
For example, if your phone is +91 1234567890, your link will be http://wa.me/911234567890. You can also use the wa.me/ link directly – wa.me/911234567890. Copy and paste this link into your browser on your phone.
2nd step: WhatsApp will launch your discussion thread. Send a message to make it appear in the discussion thread. Then pin it as shown below. Now you can easily send yourself a message.
Note: Perform step 1 only once.
Pin WhatsApp group or chat
Typically, the group or discussion thread that you created to send you a message will disappear when you receive new messages. To keep it always on top, you can pin it. This allows you to easily send a message quickly.
To do this, long press the group name on the WhatsApp home screen on Android and select Pin at the top.
On iPhone, swipe right on the group on the WhatsApp home screen and select Pin.
Why send you a message on WhatsApp
Unless you haven't thought about it, messaging on WhatsApp makes a lot of sense. The reason is that we use WhatsApp daily. We open the app several times a day. So why not use it as a journal or as a do-it-yourself tool. Incredible, right? You don't disturb anyone by doing it. You can delete the messages at any time. What's more, you can even use it as a file transfer tool to send content between your phone and laptop using WhatsApp Web.
