How to Disable Dark Mode in Google Apps
Even though Google apps have a lot of white background, which can be horrible for dark fashion lovers, I'm comfortable with that. Recently, Google has launched dark mode for several applications, including Gmail, the Google Phone app, Contacts, Chrome, and so on. On some apps, Google turns on the theme automatically. Dark mode fans would have welcomed the stage, but for people like me, our eyes began to tear.
To protect people who hate the dark mode of darkness torture, we will explain here how to disable the dark mode of various Google applications. But before that, let's understand what is the default theme of the system and how it matters to us.
What is the default theme of the system
You can find this option under themes in various applications. This means that if your phone supports dark theme, the app will use the dark or light theme according to what you have set as the default theme of the phone. In other words, the same theme will automatically be applied to the supported application.
For example, if you have turned on dark mode on your phone, applications using the default system theme will become dark. You can override this setting by choosing a different theme in the application settings, if any.
NoteNote: In the following methods, choose the system default only if your default system theme is lightweight.
