How to Repeat Songs on YouTube on Mobile and Desktop
YouTube is basically a service for watching videos and many also use YouTube for listening to songs. However, very few people make the most of the ability to repeat songs. Yes, you can repeat songs on YouTube. Read the article to learn how to repeat or loop YouTube songs on Android, iPhone, iPad and PC.

How to Practice Songs on YouTube on the Web (Desktop)
It is quite easy to repeat songs on the web version of YouTube. Open the video clip you want to repeat on YouTube on your computer. Right click on the video and select Loop. That’s it. Now your song will be repeated unlimited times until you change the video.
Point: If you don’t see the Loop option on the first right click, right-click the video again. You will also see picture-in-picture mode from YouTube. This gives you the option of watching YouTube videos while using another tab.
How to Repeat Songs on YouTube on Android, iPhone, iPad
Unlike the web, repeating songs on YouTube mobile apps is no easy task. Fortunately, there are three ways to repeat songs on YouTube. The first one uses the YouTube website from a mobile browser and the second method uses the YouTube playlist feature. Finally, you can use third-party apps to repeat songs. Let’s check all the methods.
Method 1: Repeat Songs Using YouTube Mobile Website
Note: This method only works on Android.
Launch Chrome browser on your phone and open m.youtube.com. The mobile version of the YouTube site will open. Tap the three-dot icon at the top of Chrome and check the box next to the Desktop site. This will switch the mobile version to the desktop version of YouTube.
Open the video you want to repeat. Touch and hold the YouTube video screen until you see a menu. Tap Loop in the menu to repeat the song.
Point: Using the desktop version of YouTube from your mobile browser, you can play YouTube videos in the background without YouTube Premium.
Method 2: repeat YouTube songs using playlist
The steps for this method are the same on Android and iPhone / iPad.
Step 1: Open the YouTube app on your phone or tablet. Find the video clip you want to repeat.
2nd step: When the video opens, touch and hold the Save button below the video. This will open your existing playlists. Tap New playlist.
Step 3: Give the playlist a relevant name and press Create. Your video will automatically be added to the new playlist.

Step 4: Now go back to the home screen of the YouTube app. Tap the Library tab at the bottom. Tap the playlist you created in step 3 in the playlist list.
Step 5: Tap the play icon to start the playlist containing your video.
Step 6: On the next screen, tap the small down arrow below the video to display the playlist options. Tap the Repeat icon to repeat the playlist. Since the playlist contains only one song, it will be repeated.
If tapping the Repeat icon doesn’t do anything, you’ll need to add a 1-second video to your playlist. To do this, use the YouTube search and type 1 second video. You will get a huge collection of such videos. You need to add one of them to the playlist containing your video clip. To do this, tap on the three dots icon present below the video and select Save to playlist.
Your playlists will appear. Select the one you created to loop your video and hit the Done button.
Now open the playlist again from Library tab> Your Playlist. Press the Play button.
Tap the Repeat icon below the small arrow. That’s it. Now your actual video will be repeated. You won’t notice the one second video.
How to know that repeat is turned on for YouTube playlist
To confirm whether or not repeat is on, you will notice that the repeat icon changes color. This is one way to confirm.
On my Android phone, the repeat icon has not changed color. So if this happens to you as well, there is another way to confirm. To do this, play the last video in your playlist and tap it once. If the Next Video button is white, it means repeat mode is on. If it is grayed out, the playlist will not repeat. So tap on the Repeat icon to activate the repeat mode.

Method 3: Repeat YouTube Songs Using Third-Party App
If the above methods don’t work, you should use third-party apps. One app that repeats YouTube songs or other videos is Repeat YouTube video app. It’s a small app measuring less than 1MB and works on both Android and iOS / iPadOS.
Here are the steps to use the app on Android and iPhone.
How to use Repeat YouTube Video app on Android to repeat songs
Step 1: Install the app from the following link on your Android phone.
2nd step: Launch the YouTube app and open the video clip you want to repeat. Tap the Share icon below the video. From the list of apps that appear, select Repeat YT.
The Repeat YouTube Video app will open and the song will repeat.
Point: You can also repeat part of the video using this app.
How to use Repeat YouTube Video app on iPhone and iPad to repeat songs
Step 1: Install the app on your iPhone or iPad.
2nd step: Launch the YouTube app and listen to the song. Tap the Share icon. The Share screen opens. Tap More to display the list of apps.
Step 3: Look for Repeat YT. Tap More again. You will find Repeat YT under the app suggestions. Tap on it. A pop-up window will appear asking you to open the Repeat YouTube Now video app.
Note: If the Repeat YT app does not appear, tap Copy Link instead and follow step 4.
Step 4: Launch the Repeat YouTube video app on your iPhone or iPad and the video will start playing in repeat mode.
