Even if you keep the ringer volume high, you may miss calls when you are in a noisy environment. But if the vibration is on, the chances of missing a call are low, thanks to the vibration of your phone. Having said that, sometimes vibrations don’t seem to work for many Samsung Galaxy phone users. This article will help you solve this problem if you have one and experience it.
Vibration is not limited to calls. Your phone vibrates for notifications, touch interactions, and more. Samsung smartphone users face issues related to all of them. The fixes mentioned here should fix the problem.

1. Restart the phone
Like all troubleshooting processes, start by restarting your Samsung Galaxy smartphone. This should fix any temporary issues causing the vibration issue.
2. Activate vibration
If your phone does not vibrate when you receive a new call, you need to make sure that the “Vibrate while ringing” setting is enabled. It is possible that you turned off vibration by mistake and forgot to turn it on. To do this, go to Settings> Sounds and vibrations. Activate the toggle for Vibrate while ringing. If it’s already on, turn it off and back on.
Likewise, Android allows you to turn vibration off or on separately for various functions such as touch interactions, keyboard, keyboard, etc. You must manually verify that the vibration settings for the required functions are enabled. 3. Modify the pattern and intensity of the vibrations

4. Check the individual application settings
If vibration feedback doesn’t work for a particular app, like the Messages app, you need to check the app settings. Android phones allow you to customize notification settings separately for each app. Vibration must have been accidentally turned off for the app.
There are two ways to check this. First of all, you can open the app settings directly from the app and turn on the vibration under Notification settings. You can also go to Phone settings> Applications. Tap on the problematic app. Then tap Notifications.
You will find different categories of notifications. Tap the correct one. For messaging apps, tap Incoming messages. Make sure you type on the text and not the toggle. Activate the switch next to Vibrate. If it is on, turn it off and back on.

5. Uninstall the theme

6. Update the phone software

7. Check Safe Mode

To note: Putting your phone in safe mode will not delete your data.
To activate Safe Mode, turn off your phone. When it is completely off, press and hold the power and volume down buttons to turn on the device. When the Samsung logo appears on the screen, leave the power button but hold the volume down button until you see the home screen. Safe Mode text will appear at the bottom to indicate that Safe Mode is enabled.
Test the vibration now. Restart the phone to exit safe mode.

8. Reset all settings
The last software related fix is to reset app preferences on your phone. This will reset all of your phone’s settings to their default values. Before continuing, find out what is going on by resetting the settings.
To reset the settings, go to Settings> General management> Reset> Reset all settings.
9. Check the vibration motor
If the above solutions don’t help, you will need to test if you have a faulty vibration motor on your Samsung Galaxy phone. You can do this without opening the phone case and using the hardware test feature. Here are the steps:
Step 1: Open the dialer or the Phone application. Dial * # 7353 # or * # 0 * #. No need to press the call button. The code will activate automatically.
2nd step: A white screen with different options will open. Tap Vibration.
If the phone vibrates, it’s a software problem. However, if the phone does not vibrate, it is time to visit the service center.
10. Perform interactive verification
Another way to find out if a hardware issue is causing the vibration issue is to use the interactive check feature in the Samsung Members app.
Step 1: Open the Samsung Members app on your phone. Install it from the link below in case it is not installed.
2nd step: Tap Get Help, followed by interactive checks.
Step 3: Tap Vibration and follow the onscreen instructions.
