Top 6 Ways to Fix YouTube Comments Not Loading in Chrome

Comments on a YouTube video are helpful for viewers and creators. Sometimes I quickly skim through a video’s comments to gain additional insight or to predetermine whether the content is worth my time or not. However, there are times when video comments do not load, especially with Chrome. If this describes your current situation, refer to the troubleshooting checks in this guide to resolve this issue.

Before changing the browser, check if the video actually supports comments. In an attempt to moderate hate speech, violence, etc., YouTube sometimes turns off comments on certain videos. Additionally, comments may not be available on videos that the creators have prohibited viewers from commenting on.
