Update Android apps automatically

To automatically update apps on your Android device:

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap Menu # Settings.
3. Tap Automatically update apps.
4. Select an option:
¶ Automatically update applications at any time to update applications using Wi-Fi or mobile data.
¶ Automatic update of applications via Wi-Fi only.
Note: If an account on your device has a connection error, applications may not be updated automatically.

Automatically update individual Android apps

To set up updates for individual apps on your device:. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap Menu My Apps & Games.
3. Select the application you want to update.
4. Press More.
5. Check the box next to "Automatic update".
6. The application will be updated automatically when updates are available. To disable automatic updates, clear the check box.

Update Android Apps Manually

To update applications individually or in bulk using the Google Play Store app on your mobile device:

Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap Menu My Apps & Games.
3. Applications with an available update are called "Update".
4. Tap Update All to update all applications. 5. For individual applications, search for the specific application you want to update and tap Update.
Note: Some applications require new permissions when they are updated. You may see a notification asking if you accept the new permissions.
