First and foremost, downloaded Instagram photos and videos are not actually uploaded, but only saved to your Instagram account. Download Instagram photos and videos
Before you begin, make sure you back up your favorite Instagram posts. You can do the same thing by tapping the bookmark icon located at the bottom right of the message. To see your saved collections, go to your Account and tap the hamburger menu at the top right. Head to the Checked in option. All your saved images and videos will be there.
Note that these instructions apply to the Instagram application. You can also do the same via the desktop version of Instagram. Instructions
- Once you have saved the desired image or video, go to The desktop version of Instagram. Make sure you are connected.
- Then go to your Account and press Checked in. There you will see all your saved messages.
- Open the image or video you want to download.
- Now, right click on it and select See the source of the page. You can also use the Ctrl + U shortcut for the same.
- Open the Find toolbar by pressing Ctrl + F and search for the keyword required to download Instagram photos and videos.
- "Og: image" content = if you want to upload an image.
- Or search Content "og: video" = download a video.
- Now, copy the entire URL in quotation marks, as shown in the image below. The URL will be as follows:

- Finally, simply paste this URL into a new tab of any browser. The image will now be loaded into the browser.
