If you need to change the theme in each slide and your presentation contains countless slides, you may want to create a design preset or theme in PowerPoint. This will help you apply the same design to all the slides at the same time, and you can also send the theme to anyone so that they can use it.
PowerPoint allows users to add a theme from the Design tongue. It changes the background color, font, default general color scheme, etc. What if you have to use a different font? What if you need to make some color changes and apply the same design to all the slides in your PowerPoint presentation? You can open each slide and make changes, or you can create a preset or theme to apply them simultaneously.
Create a design preset or theme in PowerPoint
To create a design theme in PowerPoint, follow these steps:
- Open a blank PowerPoint slide.
- Go to the Design tab.
- Select a theme in the Themes panel.
- Make any necessary changes.
- Expand the Themes panel.
- Click the Save current theme option.
- Select a path where you want to save and give it a name.
To get started, you need to open a blank PowerPoint slide so that you can make any changes you need. After that go to Design tab and select a theme you want to apply. Now you need to make all the changes.
For example, you can do these-
- Change color variant
- Choose a different font
- Add an effect
- Use a background style
- You can click on the Background format possibility to choose a gradient fill, a solid fill, a pattern fill, insert a background image, etc.
Once you are satisfied with your design, you should extend the Themes panel by clicking on the arrow button at the bottom.
You can now find an option called Save the current theme.
Click it to save your custom theme to your computer. After that, you need to select a location where you want to save and give it a name before clicking on the save button.
To use this theme or apply the design preset to all existing slides, you must first open the presentation in PowerPoint. After that, select all the slides on your left, expand the Themes panel as you did previously and then click on the Browse themes option.
You must now choose the theme that you recorded a few moments ago. Once you open the theme, it will be applied to all selected slides automatically and immediately.
That’s it! I hope this will help you a lot.
