How to enable and use Xbox Action for Google Assistant
Control of devices with voice is the novelty of the Internet of Things. The growth of smart speakers means that the number of voice command devices also increases. With this, Microsoft announced the support of Xbox Action for Google Assistant officially. This means that a user can use the Google Assistant on his Smart Speaker, his Android phone, his iOS device and any way not to control his Xbox. This version is available as a public beta now and is available on Xbox One and English only.
Enable and use Xbox action for Google Assistant
There are two aspects of this guide. They are as follows:
- Xbox Action Setup for Google Assistant.
- Use the commands.
1) Xbox Action Setup for Google Assistant
You must join the Google Group with your connected Google Account where you want to use it with Google Assistant.
Log in to your Xbox now.
On your Android or iOS device, open the Google Home app.
To select + Add.
Now press Configure the device.
Tap Have you already installed something?
Let it search and in the list, select (beta) Xbox.
Use the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox to sign in to the Google Home app.
Follow the instructions to link your Xbox and give it a device name
* If no device is found, try enabling the Digital Wizards setting on your console (Settings> Devices and Broadcasting> Digital Wizards).
The default name of your Xbox in the Google Home or Google Assistant app is: Xbox. However, you can change it at any time for anything you want using these applications.
2) Use the following commands
You can use the following commands to perform the actions mentioned:

Switch off | Hey Google, turn off the Xbox. |
Starting the game | Hey Google, play Gears 5 on Xbox. |
Mount the sound | Hey Google, increase your volume on Xbox. |

Mute | Hey Google, cut the Xbox. |
Mute | Hey Google, disable the Xbox. |
Pause* | Hi Google, take a break. |
To play* | Hi Google, play. |
Next* | Hey Google, then. |
Previous* | Hey Google, previous |
Take a screen shot | Hey Google, take a screenshot on Xbox. |
Save a game clip | Hi Google, save this on Xbox. |
To restart | Hey Google, restart Xbox. |
stop | Hey Google, stop on Xbox. |
Watch a TV channel (if live TV is set up) | Hey Google, go to PBS on Xbox. |
