The Android application of browsers has been available in beta for several months. However, with the stable version, we can now safely recommend users to try Brave Browser. So, without further ado, here's all the reason why you should consider switching to Brave Browser.
Say goodbye to third trackers
One of the main features of Brave Browser is the ability to block all third party tracking. This means that you can safely browse the web without having to worry about third-party tracking that constantly monitors every click you make. To make things a little easier to understand – you would stop being bombarded with ads about a product or service on which you might have searched the internet. Of course, this is not the only positive result that can block third party monitoring.
More intrusive ads
Ads are one of the main sources of revenue for almost all major websites. However, some websites contain too many intrusive ads that spoil the user experience. Fortunately, with Brave Browser, advertisements would be a thing of the past. Privacy and security features are enabled by default. As a result, you can start browsing the web without advertising right from the start.
However, you can choose to support certain websites by allowing them to display ads by simply activating them on the websites on which you want to display ads. To do this, follow these steps: Load the Web site where you want to see the ads. – Press the mouse button. Courageous icon in the address bar – Disable Block ads and tracking.
Once you have disabled the option of blocking ads and tracking on the website, reloading has taken place and you now have the option to see the ads on the site. Keep in mind that this would also allow for third party tracking. Nevertheless, the ability to block advertisements directly from the browser is a useless task because you do not need to download plugins to do the same thing.
Saves data and battery
If you switch to Brave Browser, you will reduce your data usage and you may even notice less battery consumption. This is due to blocked tracking and ads on websites. Without the need to load ads, some of which are often video ads, you back up your mobile data. The developers also claim a 2x to 4x increase in speed on Android. As a result, it saves battery life by loading websites and content faster.
Brave awards!
It's a pretty unique feature introduced with the browser-driven privacy. Brave Rewards essentially rewards users with BAT (basic attention tokens) that are essentially blockchain tokens for viewing ads that respect privacy. You can then give or donate these BAT tokens to your favorite websites / creators to support them. Plus, you can reward yourself by redeeming BAT tokens for cash in your bank. Otherwise, you can use it to claim gift cards and other offers online. The only drawback is that only a few editors are associated with this new system.
Fortunately, Brave Rewards is not something you have to contact. You can choose to unsubscribe from the Brave Rewards option when configuring the application.
Other features
Brave Browser, a software focused on the protection of privacy, also offers many other features. The browser allows you to access the Tor network without any additional software. Unfortunately, this feature is not available in the mobile app yet. There is also an option to enable "Do not track" from the settings. This sends a request to websites asking them not to show ads based on your searches. However, some websites may ignore this request and you will still be followed. The application also allows you to enable or disable the "regional ads".
The navigation app also comes with two theme options: clear and dark. To change the theme, press the button three points icon and select Settings. Under the Display category, press Appearance – Themes then select your favorite theme from the options.
There is an option to enable or disable video playback in the background as well as. By default, this feature is disabled. However, if you often consume media files on your browser and want videos to appear in the background, you can enable it. Go to Settings – Video playback in the background – Select Video playback in the background – Activate functionality.
You can also change the default search engine to Standard tabs as good as Private tabs individually. This is a feature that some might find extremely useful.
To sum up, if you're worried about your online privacy, which you should absolutely be, we recommend switching to Brave Browser. In addition, the browser looks like Google Chrome in terms of layout, so you will not have to worry about having to relearn the basics.
Nowadays, it is relatively difficult to maintain your privacy online. Fortunately, apps like Brave Browser are here to help protect your data and privacy. Download Brave Browser for Android below.
