When you try to synchronize files between OneDrive Online and your OneDrive for Mac client, you may receive an error message stating:
You are already syncing this account. Open your folder (null) or log in with another account
If you encounter this problem, here is a workaround that could help you.
You already sync this account – OneDrive for Mac error
When you install OneDrive for Mac, a copy of your OneDrive is downloaded to your Mac and placed in the OneDrive folder. This folder is synchronized with OneDrive. So, whenever you add, edit, or delete a file or folder on the OneDrive Web site, the change is reflected in the folder. However, when things do not go as expected, an error message may appear, as described above. Plus, removing and reinstalling OneDrive will not help you. To solve this problem, you will need to follow these steps:
- Force to leave OneDrive
- Use ResetOneDriveApp.command.
1) Force to leave OneDrive
Select the cloud icon visible in the top tray and choose Settings> Exit OneDrive.
2) Use ResetOneDriveApp.command
Then locate OneDrive in your Applications folder.
Once found, right-click on it and select ShowPackage contents"
The action, once confirmed, will direct you to thecontents'Folder.
Click on the folder to see its contents. Right here. Choose the & #39;Resources'Folder, when we see it.
Below, you'll notice tons of other files. One of them is ResetOneDriveApp.command (or ResetOneDriveAppStandalone.commandif you use the standalone application).
Just double-click ResetOneDriveApp.command or ResetOneDriveAppStandalone.command to run it.
When the process is complete, restart your Mac computer and reinstall OneDrive. The error message You already sync this account should not be seen when you try to sync files between OneDrive Online and your OneDrive for Mac.
