PosterMyWall is a unique online destination for creating attractive and beautiful graphics. It combines editing and publishing tools to create fascinating graphics with the help of their online generator. The interface is feature-rich and does not require any prior design skill.
Whether you are a consultant or a humble company, PosterMyWall provides thousands of ready-made marketing templates for different sectors such as schools, restaurants, churches, concerts, other events, and more.
So, if you want to create regular graphics of different dimensions, treat this message as a PosterMyWall guide. We will explain how to get the most out of this online graphical tool. All you have to do is register on the site and start.
How to create free online marketing charts
In your plans, you need to define the type of graphic material you need: banners, posters, flyers, calendars, menus, etc. After that, you can start creating them with attractive designs. All right, you can change the language of the interface from English to one of the 15 different languages supported by the site.
Choose a model
By subscribing to PosterMyWall, you will be able to store your drafts and finished drawings in your account. Go to the model gallery to browse thousands of high-resolution business models.
You can also choose one based on the type of chart you want to create: flyer, banner, or poster. You can browse the sea of templates divided into different categories, from concerts to special holidays. Do not worry about size and dimensions. You can change them at any time and all items will be automatically adjusted.
After selecting a template, click the Customize button. Then the entire interface will become the online publisher. For this guide, we will choose a template to create an Instagram post for official GuidingTech accounts.
Customize a template
The best thing about PosterMyWall's online editor is that it is very flexible and easy to understand. In addition, all elements of a template are customizable, from fonts to graphics. It's really cool, is not it?
By clicking on a model element, a new set of options will appear on the right. The variety of options depends on the item on which you click. In addition to aesthetic adjustments, you can also rotate and move the item on the template. By clicking on the visual elements (photos and cliparts), several retouching and effect setting options appear to the right of the interface.
Change the background
The background options are useful for modifying and estimating the appearance of the final design.
If you want to change the background color, you can choose between solid colors, gradients or add another photo.
Even after choosing a solid color, you can apply the gradient by clicking on the button next to it – no need to mix the options.
Replace text
To edit the template text, tap and then edit it by navigating between different fonts and effects. Some templates lock the text box in a specific place, as in the case of the Instagram template we chose. You must therefore "unlock" the text box and make the necessary changes. After that, you can realign the text, change its orientation, and so on.
Our Instagram template contained a lot of text on the graphics. So we chose it and wanted to present it differently. The built-in editor also offers many options for choosing between simple and elegant fonts, apart from spoiling them with a choice of several types of fonts.
This is the fun menu in which you can add a word or two, choose one of the fonts, and then choose the effects to preview the final version. You can download your fonts by upgrading to the Premium Membership (for more information about this later).
Add photos or graphics
In the left column you will find options for adding more photos, clip art, graphics, text and layout options. Dimensions and other colors, as well as graphic setting options, should appear on the right. This may vary depending on the model you select.
Since we post an Instagram post for our Instagram GuidingTech accounts, we want to add our logo. If you want to add your official logo or other image, click the Photo button, and then select Add from My Photos. Alternatively, you can also choose Add Photo if you want to choose some of them from free photos available on Storyblocks, Pixabay and Flickr. In addition to this, the site also allows to import images from Facebook and other popular cloud storage services. It's a pretty awesome set of services for choosing free photos.
Add clipart or shapes
You can always include cliparts to enhance the visual appeal of your graphics. To do this, click the Clipart option on the left, and then select Add clipart option. In the window that appears, you can search for a specific type of clipart from Storyblocks, Pixabay, and Flickr.
Select one and add it to your chart. Then you can resize or move it to where you want it. In the right column you will see a variety of options to enhance the clipart.
You can add a border, give it a glow, include a shadow, even add a hue. Below are the layout options that allow you to flip the clipart vertically and horizontally. This is a pretty exhaustive bouquet of options to play.
Move the element forward or backward
If your graph has too many overlapping elements, you can adjust them by placing the salient features at the front and a few at the back. When you click an item, the right column displays four options: Send to Background, Put to Front, Copy Picture, and Delete Picture. The last two are self explanatory.
If you choose Send to Background, the selected item will be placed at the back and will appear hidden under the overlapping item. You can use the Opacity slider to adjust the transparency of elements to create a specific effect around your element or main text.
Here is the kicker – you can change the size of the model at any time with the Resize button at the top. This means that you can adjust the size in inches. You can also resize the same pattern in a flyer, summary banner, postcard, or poster. The elements of your design will remain intact so you can adjust them again.
The learning curve of the online editor is so natural that you will be familiar with the interface and options in a day.
Sharing and publishing
Once your design is complete, you can download it in the most common file formats. All digital designs are downloadable for free with JPG, PNG and PDF options. If you download creatives frequently, upgrading to Premium subscriptions will help you unlock unlimited downloads.
In addition, you can share your works with your colleagues or customers by email. You can add email addresses to share with colleagues or customers. You can add members of your team to collaborate on editing the drawing. In addition, you can choose to make it only in view for some people.
It is rare for this site to integrate your design on your blog or on a website.
Premium and Premium Plus subscriptions help you unlock social media publishing planning from your account and unlimited downloads. This is a considerable time saver. You will not have to bother to download the chart and then add it to your social accounts individually. It is rather practical.
