With the integrated Messaging app for – who is the new default client, you can connect and manage your multiple email accounts from a single point without having to load different websites to check and send your emails. In this article we will illustrate how you can change the name of the sender on outgoing emails.
Change the display name of the sender in the Windows 10 Mail app
For any Windows 10 user who might be faced with a similar situation, you can follow the steps described below to change the name of the sender of your email.
- Launch the Mail app.
- Click the gear icon (settings) at the bottom left of the Mail app.
- Click on Manage accounts.
- Click the email account you want to modify.
- Click on Change mailbox synchronization settings.
- Type the name you want in the Send your messages using this name field.
- Click on Finished.
That's it!

I even could not find ” Send your messages using this name field.” under this Change mailbox synchronization settings. Nowhere to type the display name, what a frastration!
Same issue as Yisheer above, my Manage Accounts – Change mailbox synchronization settings – does not give you the option to change the “Send your emssage….”, there is no such option.
