Google Search Widget Doodles
Google regularly updates its home page with special doodles to celebrate any special or festive occasion. And now you can also feel the same in the search bar of the Google app. When you unlock your device, you will see a short animated doodle on the G logo in the search bar. Previously, these doodles had only made their way to the handful of users. But these lucky people had no say in disabling this feature. Now with the latest Google App update, you can easily disable or enable the Google Search widget doodle as needed. So here is how you can try this feature.
Availability
To start, the Labs section is only available in the beta version of the application 10.92.8 or later. But even if you download this version, you may not be able to try this feature. Indeed, it is deployed as an update on the server side. Although the update has been online for the past two months in the beta version, many beta users have not yet received this feature. However, if you have the Labs section, here’s how to try:
- Open the Google app and press More.
- Meet at laboratories section and activate the toggle next to Google Doodles search widget.
- Finally, to restart your device once for that effect to occur.
- Now all you have to do is wait for Google to publish a doodle. As soon as the giants of Silicon Valley do it, you will see the same thing in the search widget.
That’s it. These are the steps to activate the Google Search widget doodles on Android. What do you think of this feature? Is it available or hasn’t it appeared on your device yet? Let us know the same in the comments section below.
