Export Chrome Passwords to CSV on Mobile

Just like on the desktop, you can easily convert your login information to a CSV file via Chrome’s built-in password management screen. Since the user interface differs between Chrome for Android and iOS, the following breakdown should guide you through the process of exporting passwords to CSV in both versions.

Google Chrome – Android

Step 1: Open the Chrome menu, then tap Settings.

2nd step: Tap the option labeled Passwords. On the password management screen that appears, tap the three-dot icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Press Export passwords: you may need to authenticate your action (by entering the access code for your device, for example). When prompted to confirm, tap Export passwords.

Then you can choose to save the CSV file to local storage or share it with an application of your choice.

Google Chrome – iOS

Step 1: Open the Chrome menu, then tap Settings.

2nd step: Tap Passwords. On the password management screen that appears, scroll down to the bottom of your password list.

Step 3: Tap Export passwords, then go through the required form of authentication (Touch ID or Face ID). Tap Export passwords again when prompted.

You can then save the generated CSV to any location in the iPhone / iPad Files application (press Save to files), or share it with another application on the sharing sheet.

Export Chrome Passwords to CSV on the Web

If you use Chrome Sync, your passwords should be automatically saved to your Google account. This means that you can log into any browser (not just Chrome) with your Google Account credentials and download your passwords directly from Google servers.

Note: If you use a sync password to secure your Chrome data, you can’t access or download your passwords directly from your Google Account.

Step 1: Access the online password manager at passwords.google.com using any web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, etc.). Sign in with your Google Account credentials when prompted.

2nd step: Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner of the password manager.

Step 3: Click on Export.

Step 4: Click Export when prompted to confirm.

Step 5: Authenticate your action with the credentials of your Google account.

Step 6: Your passwords must then be uploaded as a CSV file.

Log out of your Google account if necessary.
