1]Check Google Drive status

Well, the best thing to do is to visit Status dashboard. This dashboard lists all of the Google services and indicates whether any of them work properly or not. If Google Drive is found to be down, the only option is to wait for the search giant to reactivate the service.

We have encountered cases in the past where files could not be uploaded to Google Drive because the file name included unsupported characters. The user then only has to rename the file and then try to download it again.
Try inserting common letters and numbers instead of special characters to make it easier to upload content to the platform.
3]Disable your firewall and see
Chances are you have an antivirus tool and a firewall protecting your Windows 10 computer. These programs can cause problems when uploading content to Google Drive. Therefore, the best option is to disable them if the problems persist.
We can disable Microsoft Defender’s default antivirus by pressing the key. Windows key + I to launch the Settings application. From there you will want to navigate to Update and security > Windows security > Open Windows security.

4]Reconnect your Google account
Another option is to disconnect your account and reconnect it again. Doing this will force all files to resynchronize, so depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the number of files saved in your account, it could take some time.
OK, so in the system tray, please click Backup and synchronization, and from there select the Settings icon, which is the three dots, then click Preferences. Now in the left menu section click on Settings > Disconnect account > Disconnect. Once everything is done, click on Got It.
Finally, click the Backup and Synchronization icon again, then select Connection.

Here’s something you might not have known. You see, Google Drive stores the cache on your computer via the web browser to allow faster loading of files. However, this feature can cause problems from time to time. In this case, the best option is to clear the browser cache.
