How to Fix Your Mac Screen Looking Blurry

When you first bought your Mac, you were probably drawn to several things. Without a doubt, one of these would have been the beautiful display that many Apple devices are known for.

Mac screens

Sometimes, however, we come across issues where the screen of our device starts to look a bit disorienting. And even if you’re worried that you might start to have trouble with your eyesight, the reality is that your device probably needs a little recalibration.

If you’re wondering why your Mac’s screen looks blurry, keep reading; we will reveal four solutions to this problem.

Brightness adjustment

In some cases, the easiest way to fix your Mac’s blurry screen is to adjust your device’s brightness levels. You have a few options if you want to achieve this; we will list two below.

For the first one, you will have to go to the control center of your Mac:

Step 1: Click the toggle button icon at the top right of your Mac’s toolbar.

Changing the screen resolution

When you receive your Mac, your screen resolution is normally set by default. In most cases, this should be enough and you probably never have to change it. However, it may be worth it if you find your screen is too blurry.

To change the screen resolution on your Mac, follow the steps listed under this paragraph.

Step 1: Go to the Apple logo at the top left of your device’s toolbar.

Reduce transparency

If you feel like your screen is not clear enough, it could be due to your Mac’s transparency settings. To fix and make things more opaque:

Step 1: Click on the Apple logo in the top left and go to System Preferences.
