Similar to what you get in Snapchat and in the Instagram Stories section, Google Photos has now added a markup tool. To access it, open any image in the application and press the button edit icon. This is the second following on the left. In the bottom bar you will now see the addition of this new feature. Press the doodle icon (last last icon) to access it. Although the Google Photos markup tool offers the ability to write or highlight different colors, the brush size increase / decrease feature is not present at this time. Also, if you press Clear, you will not receive a confirmation message. So be sure of two before using it.
