Monitor Windows Event Log Files Checking with SnakeTail Windows tail utility

The continued use of Windows 10 will accumulate a ton of log files, but how to monitor these files easily without having to go through a few mouse clicks? Well, recently, we tested a tool called Snake's tailand so far, it seems to work pretty well. This is a Windows utility for monitoring growing text log files.

SnakeTail is able to monitor text log files and Windows event logs with relative ease, and this is the main reason we value it so much. In addition, it supports multiple window modes, including MDI, tabbed, and floating. This tool has a long list of features, which we will not discuss for most of today, but we will mention some of them in our small list.

Monitor Windows log files with SnakeTail

SnakeTail will help you monitor text log files related to hardware events, security, programs, systems, and other types of events. We love SnakeTail because it does what it is intended to do with small problems.

1) Check the event log

This is easily verified in the event log. Just click on File, then on the option that says Open EventLog, and from there, a new window should appear. From this window, the user can choose from a list of options where events can be viewed.

Select the one you want, then click the Open button, and then view the event logs as desired.

2) Save and sign in

When you have started a log, you can save it as a session from SnakeTail. This means that if you want to review the same section, you do not have to go through a million things to get there.

OK, then to save a session, click the File tab, and then select Save Session at Once. Now, to open an already registered session, perform the same task, but click Open Session instead, and that's it.

3) Change the window

If you are not satisfied with the shape of the window in which you work, why not make some changes? To do this, click the Window tab, and then select from the available options. Do you want to create a tab? No problem, it is possible.

Click the tab that says Window, which allows the user to create a cascading window, either horizontal or vertical. This is the same section as Show Tabs, which basically consists of several event log windows in the main window.
