Sometimes OneDrive users may find that their Personal Vault folder displays text in a language not chosen by them. If you have the same problem, here is what you can do to solve it. A few steps are enough to solve the problem completely.
OneDrive Personal Vault displays an incorrect language
Personal Vault in OneDrive is a place to store your most important and sensitive files. Due to some errors, texts may be displayed in the wrong language. This often happens when there is some kind of discrepancy between the language settings of OneDrive and those of your computer.
To change the language of your OneDrive Personal Vault, follow these steps:
- Change the language settings of the Microsoft account profile to match the language settings of your PC
- Rename your Personal Vault folder in OneDrive.
The workarounds mentioned above can help solve the problem.
1) Change the language settings of the Microsoft account profile to match the language settings of your PC
Sign in with your Microsoft account.
Go to Your Inf0 page and switch toProfile'Tab.
Click & #39;Change the language of the display'Link visible on the right.
Then choose the language you prefer and click on the buttonTo select& #39; button.
Once the action is confirmed, the action will change the display language on the Microsoft website that you have chosen to connect, OneDrive and in some Office applications online.
To see the language you have chosen on other Microsoft sites, log out and log in again.
2) rename your Personal Vault folder in OneDrive
If you have already set up your OneDrive Personal Vault, unlock it by logging in. If you have not yet configured Personal Vault, see our article on configuring OneDrive Personal Vault.
Then unlock your Personal Vault folder. To do this, check your identity by choosing a verification method and follow the instructions on the screen.
Right click on a folder to select it and choose "reappoint'Menu bar option that appears.
Enter a name and press'to save& #39; button.
Once completed, OneDrive will automatically synchronize your language settings.
In the end, disconnect and quit.
Then, when you open the Personal Vault folder in OneDrive, the texts will be displayed in the appropriate language.
