Tips for controlling Instagram ads

While browsing streams
As you browse your Instagram feed, you may notice several sponsored posts. If you've found that someone isn't right for you, here's what you can do. Also take a look at some of the useful Instagram tips and tricks.
- Inside of Instagram app, tap the overflow menu next to this sponsored message.
- You now have the choice between two options Hide ad or Report ad. From now on, the first option simply hides all associated ads from your feeds. You must also choose the reason why this ad is hidden. The three options are: it is irrelevant, I see it too often or it is inappropriate.
- However, if you want the ad to display violent or offensive content, consider reports he. it could also help other Instagram users. There are five different options to choose from in this case, as shown in the image below.

But what if you want to take action on an ad you recently viewed but don't know the steps at that time? Well, in this case, that's what you could do. - Open the Instagram and go to your profile.
- Press the hamburger menu and select settings in the menu.
- Then press Ads > Advertising activity.
- This will take you to the recently viewed Story and Feeds ads.
- The steps to follow now will be similar to what we discussed above, i.e. press the overflow menu and select Hide ad or Report ad.
