1) Check the status of the WhatsApp server and your account
If you want to check the status of WhatsApp server and your account, the best method would be to check whether WhatsApp is working on your mobile phone or not. Try sending a message or two to be sure. If the service does not work on your phone, it will not work on your computer / browser either.
If the service works on your phone, skip to the next suggestion.
2) Disconnect and reconnect
While you are connecting to WhatsApp Web after scanning the barcode via the phone on which you are connected to WhatsApp, the disconnection must be carried out directly via the system.
Select the menu, then click Logout.
3) Clear the browser cache and check
Cache files are stored offline when you visit a website for the first time. This allows you to quickly recover data when you load the same website next time. It also means that the web page will load faster.
However, if the cache files associated with a certain web page are corrupted, the web page may not load properly. The resolution is to clear the browser's cache files. When you visit the web page again, the cache is restored.
4) Change browser and see
If WhatsApp is working properly on your phone, the problem is either in the browser or the system. So, try to open WhatsApp Web on another browser. If it also doesn't work on another browser, try it on another system to isolate the problem.
In the rare case that WhatsApp Web also does not work on the other system, check whether your phone is capable of scanning the code or not. This could be a problem with the camera or the like.
5) Check browser compatibility
If you think the problem is with the browser, please check the browser compatibility and update the browsers. WhatsApp Web will only work with certain browsers like Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera and Edge. Other browsers such as Internet Explorer are not supported. More importantly, they will not work if the versions of these browsers are outdated.
It is also advisable to update browsers. If updating the browser doesn't help, you can also consider resetting the browser. Please check for extensions and plugins that may be preventing the WhatsApp web service.
6) Temporarily disable the firewall and security programs

Although firewalls and security programs are very important for keeping your system secure, they sometimes mistakenly report genuine applications. In case this caused the issue under discussion, you can temporarily disable the Windows Defender firewall and security programs and check if WhatsApp Web is starting to work. If this is the case, please add it to the whitelist of security programs.
7) Run the internet connection troubleshooter
The Internet Connection Troubleshooter not only checks the Internet connection, but also other problems that may prevent certain websites from working properly. The procedure to run the internet connection troubleshooter is as follows:
Click on the Start button then go to Settings> Updates and security> Troubleshooting.
Select the Internet Connection Troubleshooter from the list and run it.
