4) Reset the folder catroot2
Catroot and catroot2 are the Windows operating system folders required for the Windows Update process. Windows uses this folder to store the signatures of the Windows Update package and makes it easy to install. Deleting content from here is not simple. You must stop the cryptsvc service, and then delete the files in catroot2.
When you have finished, restart the computer and check the update again.
