Nokia 6.2 details
The Nokia 6.2 is another economical device of the company and offers specifications that correspond to it. Although the design of the notches on the front is definitely outdated, it remains a great evolution compared to the Nokia 6.1 and a slight improvement over the Nokia 6.1 Plus.
Design
The last Nokia device of the series 6 was the Nokia 6.1 Plus. Only the Pixel 3 XL can claim to have a combination notch and chin less good in front than the Nokia 6.1 Plus. Fortunately, Nokia 6.2 has a much softer water drop notch, although there is still a large chin at the bottom. Not to mention that the front parts without bezel are not as sharp as you would with a OnePlus 6T, for example. It's better than its predecessor, but it's still a look that a device under $ 150 should have.
On the back, things get a little more optimistic with a design that is not used so surprisingly. The configuration of the triple camera is perfectly assembled in a large disc-shaped hump that looks much better than the rumored camera housings on the back of the next iPhones and Pixels. Some may even prefer the circular module to a horizontal or vertical module. Just below are the rear-mounted fingerprint reader, the Nokia logo placed vertically, and the Android One branding at the bottom.
The power button and volume rockers are located on the right side of the unit. There is also a headphone jack at the top and a USB Type C charging port at the bottom.
Nokia 6.2 Specifications
As I have already said, it is an economic device with specifications corresponding to this description. It features a 6.3-inch IPS LCS capacitive touchscreen with Full HD + resolution (1080 x 2280 pixels). The Nokia 6.2 display backgrounds provided below correspond to the same resolution. Other features of the display include a pixel density of approximately 400 pixels per inch and an aspect ratio of 19: 9, as well as a screen-to-screen ratio of ~ 82.5%. The screen also supports HDR10, which you do not see in devices in this range.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor powers the device. The chipset processor is associated with an Adreno 509 GPU. Nokia plans to offer this device in three variants of RAM and storage: 3 GB of RAM with 32 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB or 128 GB storage. Go. There is a dedicated microSD slot capable of increasing storage capacity up to 512 GB.
A non-removable 3500mAh Li-Po battery is included to keep everything going.
Nokia 6.2 Camera
The camera module is perhaps the most impressive element of the smartphone, at least on paper. The Zeiss brand module contains a 16MP, 27mm primary wide angle camera with an f / 1.8 aperture. The secondary camera is an ultra-wide 8 MP 13 mm sensor. There is also a 5MP depth sensor.
The cameras support pan, HDR and PDAF modes with maximum video (e-mail protected), (protected by e-mail) video recording capability.
Software
Despite all its devices running Android One, Nokia does not have the best reputation of the department. Although the company provides Android version upgrades in a fairly consistent way, it also includes things that some say should not exist. It's an Android One device after all. The company is now abandoning Evenwell applications used for "optimization".
The Nokia 6.2 will come with Android 9.0 Pie as is, but it can be expected to be updated for Android 10. The timing of the discussion is now over.
