How to add a site to Tracking Prevention Exceptions list in Edge browser

Prevention of follow-up helps you to block many trackers in Microsoft Edge. However, you may want to exempt certain sites. If so, you can do so by following the instructions in this post. This browser allows users to create an exception so that Edge can block trackers for all sites except those selected.

Internet or web tracking is about tracking you and your activities on websites. When you visit a website, multiple trackers can track your activity, regardless of the browser you use. With the included settings provided in Microsoft Edge, you can set the level of privacy protection.

Add a site in Prevention exception tracking in Edge

To add a site in Prevention of follow-up list of exceptions in Microsoft Edge (Chromium), do the following:

1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser.
2. Click the three-dot icon.
3. To select Settings.
4. Go to Confidentiality and services.
5. Click on Exceptions.
6. Click it Add a site button.
7. Write the name of the site and click on the Add button.

To start, you need to open the Microsoft Edge browser on your computer and click on the three dots icon visible in the upper right corner.

After that select Settings in the list and switch to the Confidentiality and services tongue. Here you can find a button called Exceptions in the Prevention of follow-up sign.

After clicking on this option, you must click on the Add a site button.

Then enter the domain or site name in the box.

If your desired website has multiple subdomains (for example, reviews.thewindowsclub.com, news.thewindowsclub.com, forum.thewindowsclub.com, etc.) and you would add them all to the Exceptions list you can enter the site like this-

Remove sites from tracking prevention exceptions in Microsoft Edge

To remove sites from prevention exception tracking in Microsoft Edge, follow these steps:

1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser on your computer.
2. Type edge: // settings / privacy / trackingPreventionExceptions in the URL bar and press the Enter button.
3. Click the three-dot icon.
4. Click it Remove button.

Open Edge, type edge: // settings / privacy / trackingPreventionExceptions in the URL bar and press Enter button.

It will directly open the page you need. Here you can find all the sites that have been added to the exceptions list. If you want to delete a specific site, click on the three-dot icon and select Remove option.

If you want to remove all the sites from the list, you can use the Remove all button.
