How to change Purchase Sign-in Settings for the Microsoft Store and Xbox

Many users are looking to change the connection settings to the purchase because Microsoft Store under Windows 10 and Xbox asks you for your password every time you buy something. The main goal is to make an authentic purchase. However, you can choose to disable it, at your own risk, if you are the only user of the computer or console.

1) Change the connection settings to the purchase for the Windows Store

1. Click on the Microsoft Store that is usually located in the taskbar. Elser finds it in the Start menu
2. Click on three points at the top right of the application, then select Settings.
3. Scroll to find a purchase connection.
   • If you do not want Windows to prompt you for the password, enable it.
   • To make sure the password is requested, disable it.
4. When you change the settings, Windows will ask you to check using a PIN or password.

2) Change purchase connection settings on Xbox One

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Navigate to the far right and select Select Settings.
3. Go to Account> Login, Security and Security Key (you may be asked to enter your Microsoft account password).
4. Choose Change my login and security preferences> Scroll to the far right and select Personalize.
5. Again, scroll to the right and select one of these
   • Ask my password to make purchases
   • The password is not required.

If you only use the console, choose Passkey not required. So the next time you make a purchase, it will be instant. If you choose to request a password, you will be asked to set a password and then the change will be applied.
