Launch the Firefox browser, click on “Open the menu” visible in the form of 3 horizontal bars and select “Library“
Then choose “History’>‘Clear recent history“
In the window that appears on your computer screen, select a time range as shown in the Chrome browser. However, the options available here are different and include
- Last hour
- Last two hours
- Last four hours
- Today
- All
Select the desired option.
Then check the boxes adjacent to ‘Browsing and download history“,”Cookies‘and’Hidden“
In addition to the options above, you will find 2 additional boxes-
- Offline website data – Allows a website to store files on your computer so you can continue to use it when you are not connected to the Internet.
- Site Preferences – Saves site-specific preferences, such as the zoom level saved for sites, character encoding, and permissions for sites (such as pop-up blocking exceptions) described in the Page Information window.
If you also want to delete the information stored there, check the boxes.
Finally, click on ‘Clear now»To delete cache, cookies and browsing history in Firefox.
The action upon confirmation will close the window and delete or delete the items you have selected from your history.
