How to Download Instagram Lite APK in India (& other countries)

If you mainly use Instagram only to scroll through the streams or if your device lacks storage space, you can use the reduced version of Instagram. Known as Instagram Lite, the application consumes nearly five times less storage than its original version. Many applications, including its parent company, Facebook, have long provided the Light version of the Facebook application and Messenger applications. But while the lite version of these apps is expanding around the world, this is not the case with Instagram. If you want the lite version on Instagram not available in your country, you can use the following trick to download Instagram Lite APK and use it in any country.

For the moment, it is only available in some countries. Unfortunately, India is not one of them. However, we have discovered an interesting workaround that allows you to install Instagram Lite not only in India but in all countries that do not support this application. Install Instagram Lite (APK) in Any Country

To download Instagram Lite APK in your country, follow the steps mentioned below. It would take a minute or two.

1. On your desktop or PC, open the Instagram Instagram URL from the Play Store lists.
2. Currently, this would show you that "This app is incompatible with all your device". No problem, just go to the next step.
   
3. The URL bar would have the following link:

   https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?hl=en&id=com.instagram.lite

4. Remove hl = in & from the above URL of Instagram Lite. The modified URL will now look like

   https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instagram.lite

5. Copy this URL and go to the APKPure website.
6. Enter the URL copied into the box provided and click on the download icon.
   
7. Finally, click on Download APK button. Instagram Lite would be downloaded in seconds. Once you have downloaded the APK Instagram Lite, transfer it to your device and install it as you do for any normal APK.
   

Although the above steps are done on a desktop computer, you can also say the word from your smartphone. Simply copy the URL indicated in step 4, go to the APKPure website and download and install Instagram Lite directly on your device. After installing it, if you go to the Play Store, it will show you that this app is not available in your country. But just above, you will have the option to open the same application. It seems that the Play Store has been deceived, for once!
