How to Fix Battery Not Detected in Windows 10 Error in 8 Ways

The battery is what keeps your computer alive when it is not plugged into a power outlet. Many users are facing a problem where the battery of their laptop is not detected in Windows 10. 1. Update the Windows operating system

Open the report and go through it to see if there is a problem with the battery. At this point, you can also try another command that will also generate a battery report.

 powercfg -energy

A report will be created and will open automatically in a new tab of Internet Explorer.

8. BIOS update / UEFI

While most new computers have UEFI firmware, some older models continue to run the BIOS. You need to update the firmware here to fix the known bugs. Type "msinfo" without the quotation marks and open the system information to know the current version of your BIOS.
