All gaming enthusiasts who play PC games know Steam. It is also likely that most of them may have a Steam account. The account not only gives them access to the games, but also retains control over the information they share online. If you want to know how to play games secretly on Steam, read this post.
Hide game activity on Steam
We do not always like to reveal our online status when we play games on Steam. But the Steam service is set to share your default game activity. To hide and stop sharing the Steam games you play:
- Hide Steam cat's game activity
- Hide games played from your Steam profile
1) Hide the game activity of the Steam cat
If you want to play some games secretly, you would not want all your friends to receive notifications about it. So, to avoid losing the embarrassment, you can choose to go offline or offline or become invisible on the Steam cat.
To do this, click on the buttonFriends and Chat'Option visible under the Steam window.
Now click on your user name and select
In the list of options displayed. Once finished, your friends will no longer be able to find what you play, although the information is always visible on your profile page.
2) Hide the played parts of your Steam profile
When you log in to your Steam account, move the mouse cursor over your user name to choose 'Profile'Option.
Now, to access your profile on Steam, select 'My privacy settings"This will open the privacy options of the Steam profile for you.
You can configure the privacy settings here to control who can see your gaming activity. Also, to hide the game, you can set "Details of the game& #39; at & #39;Private"
When you choose the option above, even your friends will not be able to see the games you play, even if you are online on the Steam chat.
