Remove Google Meet from Gmail

1]Remove Google Meet with official option
OK, so the first thing you’ll want to do here is to open Gmail through your web browser. In the upper right of the page, click on the gear icon, then select Settings.
In the Settings menu, please click Chat and meet, and from this tab, find Meet and click Hide the Meet section in the main menu.
Now, if for some reason you don’t see the Chat & Meet tab, we suggest you wait a few days, as the functionality is slowly rolling out for Gmail users around the world.
2]Click on the quote icon
Another way to get rid of Google Meets from Gmail is to click on the quote icon under the chat section located at lower left corner.
Click the icon to immediately hide Google Meet, and to recover it, simply click again.
3]Move the Meet function to the right
Since the labels are usually on the right and you still want to use Meet next to the labels, what are the options?
Well, how about moving Google Meets to the right of the screen? Yes, that sounds like a great idea.
This ensures that Meet does not interfere with the labels, so you can have your cake and eat it too.
Now to move Meet to the right, click on the gear icon again, then go to Advanced tab.
You must now select Right cat under the tab, press the to save button and that’s it.
