We are happy to say that Microsoft has grouped several options for this. For starters, you get a dedicated screen capture application called Snip & Sketch in Windows 10. This is an advanced version of the Snipping tool. Currently, Windows 10 provides both applications, but Snip & Sketch will soon replace the Capture tool.
First, we'll start with the methods that can be used in the tablet mode of HP x 360 notebooks, followed by the usual methods for taking a screenshot.
Let them check.
1. Use Snip & Sketch from Action Center
Microsoft provides the screen capture button as a shortcut in the fast actions present in the action center. For the non-conscious, the action center is the rightmost icon of the taskbar. Tap to display notifications and quick action buttons. You can even customize it.
Professional advice: On touch screen devices, swipe left in the right sidebar to display the center of the action.
As a general rule, you will find that Screen Snip is present by default. Tap to start the screen capture process. The screen will become darker and you will see the screen capture modes (rectangular, free form, windows, full screen) at the top. Select the one that suits you, then use your fingers or a pen to select the area you want to capture.
Once captured, it will not be downloaded directly to your PC. Windows will be saved to your clipboard and a notification will appear asking if you want to edit and save the screen capture. You can open any photo editing application such as Paint and paste the captured screenshot from your clipboard or tap the notification to open the screen capture. in the application Snip & Sketch. You can then annotate it and save it.
Screen capture not available in the Maintenance Center
If you do not find the Capture Screen (or Capture) option in the action center's quick action, right-click on a quick action. Select Edit Quick Actions.
Then click the Add button, and then click Screenshot. It will be added to fast actions. Click or tap Done to save the changes.
2. Use Snip & Sketch from the taskbar with the help of the Ink Workspace button
Another way to access the Snip & Sketch application is to use the Job Ink button on the taskbar. For that, proceed as following:
Step 1: You must add the Ink Workspace button to the taskbar. If it is already added, go directly to step 2. To add the button, right-click anywhere (or long-press tablet mode) in the taskbar and click select the Show Windows Workspace button check box.
2nd step: Once added, you will notice a pen icon in the taskbar. Click on it and select Fullscreen Snip from it.
Step 3: Screen capture of the entire screen will be captured. And it will open in the Snip & Sketch application. You can edit it before saving it.

Snip & Sketch being an appropriate application available on your PC, you can pin it to the taskbar.
To add Snip & Sketch to the taskbar, open the Start menu and look for Snip & Sketch. Right-click on it and go to More> Pin to taskbar.
Note: It's a one-off task.
When the Snip & Sketch icon appears in the taskbar, you can either click on the application's icon to open the application, or right-click on it the icon (long press in the case of tablets) to display various shortcut tasks, such as deferred screen captures. .
4. Using the Snip & Sketch keyboard shortcut

The screen will darken and you will need to select the desired area. It will be copied to your clipboard and a notification will appear as if you were using Screen Snip from the action center. Paste it now in Paint or click on the notification to open the Snip & Sketch application. Add the necessary changes (if any), and save it.
5. Screen Capture with HP Active Pen
If your laptop comes with Active Pen, you can even use it to take a screenshot. For this, you will need to install the HP Pen Control application from the Microsoft Store.
Once installed, launch the application. Then click on the drop-down list under one of the two buttons. Select Take Screenshot. Tap Apply.
Then, to capture a screenshot, press the same button on the pen while holding it near the screen. The screen capture will be captured and saved in: This PC> Pictures> Screenshot folder or C: Users your name of user Images Screenshots.
6. Using the Print Screen Key to Capture Full Screen
All Windows keyboards provide a touch screen print. It is usually available in the upper right corner of the keyboard.
Shortened by prtSc, prt sc or prtScn on the keyboard, pressing it will capture a screen capture of the entire screen. However, the screen capture does not save automatically. It is copied to the clipboard. You'll have to paste it into Paint using the CTRL + V shortcut, and then save it from there. You can also use other photo editors such as Paint 3D and PhotoScape.
On some keyboards, if another text is written on the Print Screen key, you will need to press the function (fn) and prt sc keys simultaneously to capture the screen capture.

8. Capture screen and save directly
The shortcuts above do not record screen captures directly on your PC. They are copied to the clipboard. If you want to quickly save screen captures without using any other application, use the keyboard shortcut Windows Key + Quick Key.
The screen capture will be saved in the Screenshots folder available under This PC> Pictures.
More space available?
If none of the above mentioned ways to take a screenshot on HP x 360 devices fits your needs, you can still use third-party applications. You can try applications like Greenshot, SnapCrab and Snip Paste. You can even try the paid Snagit app, which is a great alternative to Snip & Sketch.
