To use the O365 DNS diagnostic tool, follow these steps:
1]On the Client’s domain name Offive365 Office 365 DNS Diagnostic page, type your domain name. The tool checks the domain’s DNS records.
Make sure the domain is added to portal.Office.com and that the domain is verified.
2. On the Exchange deployment scenario , select the scenario that applies to you. The options are Cloud only and Coexist / hybrid.
If you have multiple domains, be aware that the scenario you select applies to the domain you entered in step 1.
- To select Cloud only if all mailboxes in this domain have been moved to Office 365.
- To select Cloud only if you do not have an Exchange Online mailbox using the domain.
- To select Coexist / hybrid if some mailboxes are hosted in the local Exchange Server environment and some mailboxes are hosted on Exchange Online.
