If you have an iPhone and a Windows computer and want to view or access iCloud notes, this tutorial will show you how to view, manage and edit iPhone or iOS notes on Windows 10. We have included two of the working methods, one of which is linked to the Gmail account.

Remarks is a handy app for all users of Apple devices. Whether you have an iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer, you can find the Notes app on your device. You can save something important in the Notes app and sync it across multiple devices. However, the problem starts when you have a combination of Windows computer and iOS device. Follow this guide to overcome this problem.

How to access iCloud Notes on Windows 10

To access iCloud Notes on Windows 10, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app on iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go to Passwords and accounts.
  3. To select iCloud under ACCOUNTS.
  4. Press the iCloud
  5. Toggle Remarks to start synchronization.
  6. Open the official iCloud site on Windows PC.
  7. Enter the login information to log in.
  8. Click the Notes icon.
  9. View or access your notes.

At first, you need to enable syncing before the Notes app can send notes from the iOS device or Mac computer to the official iCloud site.

IPhone and iPad users: If you have an iPhone or iPad, open the Settings on your device and go to Passwords and accounts menu. After that select iCloud under the ACCOUNTS title.

Now you have to select the iCloud again on the next page. After that, you can find everything that is synced via iCloud. Make sure the Remarks the application is activated for synchronization.

Mac users: If you are using a Mac computer, you need to open System Preferences first. To do this, you can search for it using Spotlight search, or you can click on the Apple logo in the status bar and select System Preferences. After that go to Internet accounts option. Here you can find iCloud on your left. Select it and make sure the Remarks the option is checked.

How to access iCloud Notes on Windows 10

Now you can create any note under your iCloud account, and it would be synced automatically. To access these notes on a Windows computer, open the icloud.com in any browser and enter your login details. After that click on the Remarks icon.

How to access iCloud Notes on Windows 10 via Gmail

To access iCloud Notes on Windows 10 via Gmail, follow these steps:

  1. Add a Gmail account to your device.
  2. Open the Settings app on iPhone or iPad.
  3. Go to Passwords and accounts.
  4. To select Gmail under the ACCOUNTS section.
  5. Toggle Remarks to activate synchronization.
  6. Open Gmail in any browser on a Windows PC.
  7. Look for the Remarks
  8. View or delete your notes.

Depending on the Apple device you are using, the first steps may be different like the previous guide.

IPhone and iPad users: If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, make sure you already have a Gmail account added to your device. Otherwise, you can go to Settings> Passwords and accounts> Add account. Now you can include your Gmail account by following the on-screen instructions.

Then visit the same Passwords and accounts section and select Gmail under the ACCOUNTS section. Now you need to make sure that the toggle button for Remarks is authorized. Otherwise, you must activate it.

Mac users: If you’re using a Mac computer and no Gmail account is added to your device, open the System Preferences and go to Internet accounts. Here you can find a more (+) sign. After clicking on this icon, you must follow the on-screen instructions to add it.

Now visit the same Internet accounts page and select the Gmail account from there. Then make sure there is a check mark in the Remarks check box. Otherwise, you must check the box.

After finishing the last step on your iOS or Mac device, you need to create new notes in the Gmail only section. Otherwise, they will not be synchronized and you will not find them on your Windows computer. Assuming you’ve started syncing, you can open your Gmail account in any browser and find the Remarks label on the left side.

From there you can view and delete notes.
