Although popular Indian teleservice providers like Airtel and JIO support VoWiFi, the country’s major smartphone brands have yet to support this feature. Well, the scene changes. Voice over WiFi now finds its place in various Android smartphones. Currently, Realme X2 Pro receives a software update that brings the VoWiFi function. In addition, the device receives the January 2020 security patch.

The latest software patch comes with the version number RMX1931EX_11.A.09. It fixes the problem of not uploading videos to Instagram. In addition, like all other previous updates, the current version brings system stability for Realme X2 Pro. From now on, the Indian variant of the smartphone goes to version A.09.

Realme follows a staged deployment of its software. The latest software version is no exception. As a result, not all users of X2 Pro may receive the software update immediately. At random, a few users may receive the update currently. In the coming days, the software should be widely distributed to the public.

If you want to install the update immediately, check it manually. Go to the Settings application on your Realme smartphone and in the System update tab, find the latest version A.09. If you want to download the update quickly and for free, use a stable Wi-Fi network.

With VoWiFi Realme X2 Pro, users can have better connectivity. They will not have to pay for calls and roaming. This feature is very popular in the consumer and professional areas. Instead of sending voice packets over pay phone bandwidth, this can be done over an open Wi-Fi network.

ASUS Zenfone 6 recently received VoWiFI functionality in India. We can hope that in 2020, more smartphone brands will start to support this cool feature.
