1. Restart the phone

Clearing the cache will not delete any of your personal data from your phone or even from the Instagram app. It is different from erasing data which will require you to log out of the application.

To clear the cache and data, do the following:

In the case of the iPhone, you must download your application. Downloading the application will not delete your data. For that, proceed as following:

Step 1: Open Settings on your iPhone and go to General.

2nd step: Tap iPhone Storage. Look for Instagram.

Step 3: Tap on Offload App.

Step 4: Restart the phone. If the problem persists, press Delete application in step 3. This will delete the application from your phone and erase all data associated with the Instagram application on your phone. Make sure to back up your iPhone to save Instagram data.

7. Install Instagram using a different account

Once you’ve uninstalled the Instagram app, you need to install it on your phone using a different account. In other words, log in to another Apple ID and install the app using it. Likewise, log in to another Google account on Android and switch accounts in the Play Store when installing Instagram.
