Facebook, just like Bitmoji and Animoji, offers a bunch of customization options to create the avatar you want. Follow the steps below to create your avatar on Facebook.

Step 1: Open the Facebook app on your iPhone or Android.

2nd step: Go to the Facebook menu in the lower right corner of the iPhone. If you are using Facebook on Android, the option will be in the upper right corner.

Step 4: Select your skin tone. Facebook offers over 30 skin tones. Choose what best resonates with your avatar idea. Tap Next at the bottom.

Step 5: Now is the time to add more items to your avatar. First of all, you need to add a hairstyle. I love the way Facebook offers filters like short, medium and long hair to quickly find the hairstyle you are looking for. You can also change the hair color.

Step 6: Navigate through the customization options using the menu bar above. The next option is the shape of the face. Select the one that suits you.

Now Avatar is ready to be used on Facebook. Tap the sticker menu above and watch the ready-made stickers based on your avatar.

Where can you use the Facebook avatar

Facebook has implemented Avatars well in the app. You can use them anywhere on Facebook, including status, profile picture, comments, and Messenger chat.

To use these avatars in post comments, tap the emoji icon and switch to the purple colored Avatar icon.

The method is also the same in the Messenger app. While chatting, tap on the emoji option and open your ready-made avatars.

To share your avatar in the Facebook feed, go to the Avatar menu and tap on the share menu in the top right corner. Facebook will allow you to choose from three available poses. Choose the one you like and hit the Share button below.

In the same share menu, you can select “Set avatar as temporary profile picture”. Facebook will offer six poses to be defined as a profile picture. I appreciate the addition of the face mask, given the current times. You can also select the different background colors to accompany the profile picture.
