Change the direction of text by rotating texts in Microsoft Word

In Microsoft Word, you can change the direction of text in Word from right to left. You can rotate the text, change the margins of the text boxes and shapes for optimal spacing, or resize the shapes for better text fit by doing the following:

  1. Launch Microsoft Word
  2. Go to the Insert tab
  3. Create text boxes
  4. Select the direction of the text
  5. Change text direction

Texts in Word can be positioned horizontally or vertically and can appear on one line or move to several lines.

Open Word and go to ‘InsertThe “tab.

Likewise, include other text boxes in a horizontal orientation.

Here, when you cannot include more horizontal text boxes but there is still data to include, change the text direction of the previous box as follows.

Choose ‘Disposition’From the Ribbon menu.

Under ‘Layout“, Go to”Text direction” Press the down arrow and select ‘Rotate all text by 90‘ under ‘Text direction options

To position the box more precisely, use the handle to rotate the box.

Now you have created additional space to include text, you can insert one more box and include all the relevant data in it.

If necessary, you can also change the alignment of the text in the boxes. For example, you can align the text in the center, left, right, bottom, or top. To do this, go to the “Organize” section under “DispositionIn the “tab, choose”Position’>‘More layout options

Then, under Vertical alignment, click the down arrow and select Interior, Exterior, center, bottom or the alignment you want to use.
