How to change the Taskbar Location in Windows 10

You have always seen the Windows taskbar located at the bottom of the screen. But did you know that you can change the location or the location of the taskbar anywhere on the screen? Most of us prefer to place the taskbar at the bottom of the screen – which is the default setting we are used to. But, in case, you feel the need to change its location on your screen, here's how you can do it.

Move taskbar in Windows 10

To move or change the location of the taskbar, follow these steps:

1. Right click on your task bar at the bottom of your screen
2. Select the taskbar settings
3. Click on the drop-down menu to Location of the taskbar on the screen
4. Select Left, Top, Right or Bottom.

Right click on the task bar that you see at the bottom of your default screen.

Select the settings from the taskbar.

Windows 10 settings will open directly in Personalization> Taskbar.

Locate Location of the taskbar on the screen and expand the drop-down menu.

Depending on your choice, you can select the Left, Top, Right or Bottom position for your taskbar.

The task bar moves to the selected position.
