Metadata helps you find all the information about an image. For example, when it was captured, what camera used to capture the photo, what date / time it was, what the ISO was, shutter speed, etc. and many others. Some information depends on the file type (photo or video), but you can find fairly similar options in both cases.
When you capture a photo using your mobile or digital camera, all of this information is saved automatically based on camera settings. However, if your images do not contain such metadata and you have to insert or modify the EXIF data of your image and video.

- Obtain the original file and right click on it.
- Select Properties from the list.
- Go to the Details tab.
- Click on the items you want to change.
- Start writing your metadata or additional information.
- Click Apply to save the change.
First, you need to get the original file. Although a copied version may also work, it may not contain as much information as the original file. Then right click on the file and select Properties option.
Now go to Details tab where you can find all the existing metadata of your image or video. It is the same tab where it is possible to delete personal information from photos, files, etc. in Windows 10.
After that click on the respective position in the Value column. It may or may not already have certain information, but it must be editable when you click the current value.
