AirPods Pro Conversation Boost is now available in iOS 15, thanks to the AirPods 4A400 firmware update! This is a much loved accessibility feature that makes face-to-face conversation much easier for users with hearing impairments!
AirPods Pro conversation enhancement feature
This new accessibility option focuses the beamforming microphones of AirPods Pro on the person speaking in front of you. The increased volume makes it easier for you to hear face-to-face conversations.
Practically, you can use AirPods Pro as hearing aids, when this new option is enabled. This feature is not only for users with mild hearing impairments, but also for all of us who wear masks these days as a protective measure against the COVID-19 pandemic!
