1. Add an account via Manage profile settings

Then you will see a drop down menu. Click on the Manage profiles option at the bottom

Now when a new window appears, search for the Mail accounts option and click on it.

2. Use the mail setting in the control panel

Adding an account through the Mail option in Control Panel can do the job.

Press Windows + R to open the run box
Type Control panel and press enter
Then click on the option Mail
Click on the Outlook Profile and click Okay

3. Deactivate the simplified account creation function via the registry editor

With newer versions of Outlook this feature is causing the bug where the user can add a new account. Disabling it can certainly fix the error and the user can add the desired account. To do this, we have to play with some registry codes through the registry editor. To do this, follow the steps

Type Windows + R to open the Run box
Type regedit and press Enter.

Now copy this path HKEY_CURRENT_USER SOFTWARE Microsoft Office 16.0 Outlook in the address box.
Now right click on the side and click on the New option.
Select the DWORD value (32 bit) and click on it
Now rename the newly created file as Disable Office365SimplifiedAccountCreation and press enter

After that click on OK

Now this will turn off the easy account creation feature on your Outlook and you can add any account you want.
