How to hide the MacBook Pro notch with the black menu bar (free)
Looking for a way to hide the MacBook Pro notch? You can do this by setting a black menu bar. It works with any macOS Monterrey wallpaper. The black bar hides the notch! This can be easily done using a free third-party app called Excellent!
How to hide the MacBook Pro notch
- 1. All you have to do is download TopNotch.dmg file (direct link) on your computer.
- 2. Click on the downloaded file available in Downloads, To open the TopNotch installer.
- 3. Drag and drop the TopNotch thumbnail on Applications case.
- 4. Double click on Excellent and confirm that you want Open the application installer. To agree with TopNotch terms.
- 5. The TopNotch Icon is displayed in the toolbar. Click on it.
- 6. Then click on the button to Activate TopNotch to automatically add a black bar to your wallpaper.
Made: You can also enable it for dynamic wallpapers, by checking the appropriate box!
