How to Restore Deleted Contacts from Google
Sometimes we accidentally delete contacts from our phones. Other times we forget that deleting contacts from one device will delete it from all connected devices. In many cases, due to incorrect synchronization, the contacts are also deleted.

Wait … Check if the contacts are deleted
Before trying to restore contacts, make sure they are deleted. Indeed, Android phones allow you to customize the contacts to display on your phone. You may have accidentally hidden your contacts.
To check this, open the default Contacts app on your phone. Tap the three-dot icon at the top (or tap the three-bar icon on the left side) and select Settings. Go to the "Contacts to view" option. Select All contacts.

How to restore deleted contacts from Google
To do this, you will need to use the help of a native feature of Google Contacts called Cancel Changes. As the name suggests, it will undo any changes made to the contacts.
When using it, you will be asked to select the period from which you want to cancel the changes. You can select from 10 minutes to 30 days. Now all changes made to the contact list from the selected date will be deleted. In other words, if the contacts were deleted, they would come back. But it also means that if you add a new contact from this period, it will be deleted. So, be careful and back up your existing contacts before doing this.
Recover deleted contacts from Google without the Google Contacts app (Samsung, iPhone, Mi, etc.)
If you have an iPhone or phone running a custom Android skin such as Samsung or Mi, you must use the Google Contacts mobile site. This method will only work if you have synchronized contacts with Google. If you are using other cloud services such as Samsung Cloud, the steps will not work.
Follow these steps to recover Google contacts:
Step 1: Open contacts.google.com in your phone’s browser.
2nd step: Tap the settings icon at the top and select Cancel changes. Select the time and press Confirm.
Requirements for recovering deleted contacts
If you are unable to recover deleted Google contacts, there may be two reasons.
Contacts must be in Google contacts
You can only restore contacts that are present or synchronized with Google Contacts. If the contacts were saved on the SIM card or the phone, these contacts would not come back by canceling the changes in Google Contacts.
30 day delay
As mentioned above, you can only recover deleted contacts for up to 30 days. If the contacts were deleted before that, it is not possible to recover them.
Prevent contacts from being deleted
