How to restore Missing Default Power Plans in Windows 10
A Plan of food is a set of hardware and system settings that manages how your computer uses power. Power management modes can help you save energy, optimize system performance, or achieve a balance between the two. In this article, we will show you how to restore the Energy saver, Balanced, High performance or Ultimate performance default power mode if it is missing in Windows 10.
Windows 10 includes the following default power management modes:
- Energy saver – Saves energy by reducing PC performance and screen brightness. If you use a laptop, this plan can help you get the most out of just charging the battery.
- Balanced – Provides optimal performance when you need it and saves energy when you do not use it. This is the best diet plan for most people.
- High performance – Maximizes the brightness of the screen and can increase PC performance. This plan uses a lot more energy, so your laptop's battery will not last that long between charges.
- Ultimate performance – Only available by default in the Windows 10 Pro for workstations edition. This plan offers optimal performance on high-end computers. It builds on the current high performance policy and goes even further to eliminate the micro-latencies associated with fine granularity feed management techniques. Insofar as the power scheme aims to reduce micro-latencies, it can have a direct impact on the hardware. and consume more energy than the default balanced plan. The Ultimate Performance power strategy is not available on battery powered systems.
Please note that changes made to a power plan will affect all users who have chosen the same power plan as the default active power scheme. All users (standard and administrator) will be able to modify the power plan settings.
