How to Use The App Cloner in Color OS

Oppo's custom skin on Android is packed with features. While Color OS 7 is still running, there are currently several useful features that you can use to include the App Cloner in Color OS. With this built-in functionality, you can clone supported applications with a few clicks. Therefore, the use of third-party application cloners is no longer necessary. In this tutorial, we will show you how to use the App Cloner Color OS function.

As we mentioned above, you can only clone apps supported with the functionality. Therefore, not all apps can be cloned on your device. However, this allows you to run two accounts on apps like WhatsApp or Facebook on one device.

Using App Cloner in Color OS

If you used a third-party application cloner, the process should look no different to you. However, if this is the first time you are cloning an app, follow the steps below to get started. The process is as simple as possible.

App Clone in Color OS

  1. Launch the settings on your Android device running Color OS.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the list and press App Clone.
  3. You should see a list of supported apps installed on your device.
  4. If you find the app you want to clone, tap on the app name.
  5. Now press the To toggle switch next to the Clone App option.
  6. The cloned application will automatically appear on the home screen. Otherwise, check the app drawer.

That’s it. You have successfully cloned an application using App Cloner in Color OS. You can configure the cloned app on your device in the same way as you did with the original app. The two apps will be independent of each other and will have their own data. Therefore, changing a setting in one application will not affect the other application.
