PictureThrill puts new wallpapers from NASA, Bing & EarthSciences on your desktop

The desktop background or wallpaper can really brighten your mood. The wallpaper is the first thing we see when we turn on our desktop or laptop, so it’s always a good idea to have a nice picture that welcomes you when you start your work. PictureThrill is a nice simple wallpaper change app that can do whatever it takes. As the name suggests, this app is about images and the word thrill makes it all clear. Downloading to your PC takes less than a minute. The Windows Defender smart screen can warn you about this unrecognized application, but it is safe, you can bypass the warning and run it.

When you install the program, a small icon will appear on your desktop. The program will not put any icon in the taskbar or the system tray. You can however do this manually if you wish.

Picturethrill brings wallpaper collection from three websites –

1. NASA
2. Bing and
3. Earth Science.

Select the one you want and the program will automatically change your wallpaper.

Each website has a different set of wallpapers. I first tried the Earth Sciences website and within seconds my wallpaper was as follows –

With Bing, I had this beautiful photo of snow camp as a wallpaper.

And, with NASA of course, I have this image of space as a wallpaper.

Picturetrill has no complex parameters or buttons. The main preview has it all and from the Settings option you can select whether you want the wallpapers to change automatically or not and if you want to save these wallpapers to a folder on your PC. Well, the app only gives you the wallpapers for these three websites and if you want to add more, you can’t really do that.
